Ancestor teaches descendants: “Keep by your bedside 3 things: mounting debts, sudden disasters”
Sharp objects
For many people, there arises the belief that placing sharp objects on the bed can help dispel negative energy and create a safer, less security-conscious bedroom. However, according to feng shui, this can actually create the opposite effect.
Sharp objects such as knives and scissors, if kept indoors, can attract negative energy, causing obsession and insecurity for those lying on the bed. Therefore, homeowners should be cautious and avoid placing these sharp objects in the bedroom.
Buddha statue
Some families have the habit of placing Buddha statues in the sleeping area to create a sense of peace and seek protection. However, this is not a good choice. According to folklore, Buddha statues are considered sacred objects that should be placed in solemn and sacred spaces, inappropriate for placement in the bedroom or near the head of the bed. The bedroom is a place for rest, not a suitable place to put Buddha statues.
In feng shui, placing a Buddha statue at the head of the bed is seen as storing wealth and luck, which can create difficulties in the career and reputation of the homeowner. At the same time, placing the statue in this position is also considered disrespectful to the deity, and may bring bad luck and encounter misfortunes.
Mirror
Mirror is a common item in every household. However, hanging a mirror also needs to be paid attention to avoid affecting the emotions and future of the couple, especially when placed in the bedroom.
Some people may not pay attention to the arrangement and placement of mirrors in their homes, but the position of the mirror can affect the relationship between husband and wife, and even pose the risk of a third party entering the relationship. If the mirror is placed facing the bed, our eyes can detect the reflections in the mirror, causing natural reflexes and possibly startling, disrupting sleep. This can affect the quality of sleep for each individual.
